I’m a wife to Dave, the best guy I’ve known, mum to six precious kiddos and a firm believer in the restorative power of Jesus, books and coffee. In that order. I’m the Editor of Esther & Friends which means I get to share my joy with you of God’s beautiful creation in it’s many different forms. Whether it’s the grace-filled writing of the contributors below, listening to inspiring teachers online or sharing some of the most extraordinary stories from around the world, I hope Esther & Friends becomes your happy place.
When I’m not hanging out here, I sit on the board of The Lisa Harnum Foundation which supports victims of domestic violence, helping to restore dignity and security. It is raw and confronting work and if this speaks to your heart, please feel free to contact me for further information.
You can contact me anytime on firstname.lastname@example.org.

Emma @ cookfasteatslow
I’m Emma and the 4 great F’s in my life are my Faith, Family, Friends and FOOD. I started cooking as a young girl standing on a stool in my mums kitchen and haven’t stopped since. A degree in Food and Nutrition and years of cooking for family and friends make me a passionate cook who is still learning. Like all parents, I have the daily quandary of what to feed my family . I want it to be quick, simple and as fresh and nutritious as possible. I want to teach my kids to eat well, cook well and the importance of gathering around the table as a family.
Cheryl Moses @ The Heart Speaks
I am the Secretary and Ladies’ Ministry Leader at Calvary Community Church, in Houston. I am “Ebby” (my grandma name) to many, and “Mom” to one adorably sweet canine named Beau. I began attending Calvary in 1991 and since then, my understanding of who Jesus is and how big His love is for me, has grown considerably. I guess you could say I’ve “grown up” at Calvary. I’ve always had a heart for serving others and ministering to women, and I love the church. Bottom line! She is a beautifully flawed menagerie of the face of God and I simply adore her. I believe in beautiful messes because I am one. If God can use this single girl to touch just one soul through anything I say or do, then my life has been well spent.
